Sweet Sixteen

Artist Daniel A. Moore is now at work on Sweet Sixteen, his newest painting commemorating Alabama’s incredible run for the 2015 National Championship. In this masterwork, the artist merges his first two prints from the 2015 season, Finish! and The Washout, into this new oil painting on canvas to create this dynamic work.

After the heart-wrenching loss at home to Ole Miss, the Tide knew that one more loss would kill its dream of winning Alabama’s 16th National Title. From that point on, the team’s one-word motto, one that was actually more like a command, became “FINISH!” The mindset for every team member was to finish each drill, each practice, each play and each game by giving nothing less than 100%. The results became self-evident, as the Tide would finish its 2015 season as National Champions.
