New Life Art, Inc. is pleased to announce the upcoming release of internationally-acclaimed sports artist Daniel A. Moore’s latest painting, The Blowout. This insightful painting documents Alabama’s historic 36-0 win over Auburn as Antoine Caldwell and Andre Smith blow out a huge hole in the Auburn defense springing Glen Coffee into action.
The blowout of Auburn ended a six-year drought against the Tigers and allowed Bama to capture its first undefeated regular season since the 1992 national championship year.
At left is the final compositional sketch for The Blowout, soon to be a new full-color oil painting, along with a close-up of detail of the painting. Once completed, the print will be published as a limited edition of fine art lithographs, each signed and numbered as an open edition of 8″ by 10″ Collegiate Classic prints.
